How to erase a hard disk or SD memory card completely i.e. not to be recovered by recovery software?

Solution & Logic:

Copy any video with size >= 1GB and image file >= 1MB (that is common like a movie file and a picture of some artist) to your hard drive that you want to clean up. Now copy and paste video files by simple copy-paste technique to fill up the entire space in GB’s. Now copy and paste the image file to fill up the entire space that was left by the video file.

That’s it, you can now delete all the copied files or format them completely… Data can not be recovered by any technique now 🙂

Files have their footprints even when you delete them that can be recovered by recovery software nowadays. Copying a video and image file till the whole disk space is filled will overwrite all the data. You can repeat this technique twice even to become 200% sure. After overwriting of memory sectors old data can not be brought back.
