About this template

Event Recap — Free "That's a Wrap" Event Recap Post Template

Event Recap social post template: A post-event recap: a "That's a wrap" label and the event name, a collage of three photos, three highlight numbers (attendees, talks, cities or anything else), a thank-you line to speakers and attendees and your handle.

Event Recap is a free social media template for the post that goes out after your event: a "That's a wrap!" label, the event name, a collage of three photos, three highlight numbers and a thank-you line to everyone who made it happen.

Keep the momentum after the event

The day after an event, attendees are sharing their own photos and tagging you. A recap post joins that conversation, thanks speakers and sponsors publicly, and shows people who missed it what they missed, which is the best promotion for next year's tickets. Big numbers such as "1,200 attendees" and "36 talks" make the event feel substantial at a glance.

Photo collage without a design tool

Upload three photos (one large, two smaller) straight from your computer, and drag each to choose the best crop. Until you add photos, the slots show soft accent-coloured gradients, so the layout always looks finished. The stats are three editable number-and-label pairs, so they work for any event: attendees, talks, workshops, cities, countries or cups of coffee.

Every size from one design

On the 4:5 feed size the photos sit between the headline and the stats. On 16:9 for X and LinkedIn the photos move to the right with the headline and stats stacked on the left, a great fit for LinkedIn, where event recaps get strong engagement. Wrap part of the event name in *asterisks* to colour it, like the year. Promote your next event with Webinar Event and Countdown.

Why use it

Why Use the Event Recap Template

🎉
Keeps the buzz going
A recap joins the conversation while attendees are still posting, and shows people what they missed.
📸
A collage without a design tool
Drop in three photos and drag to crop. Gradient placeholders keep it looking finished in the meantime.
📈
Numbers that sell next year
Big attendee and talk counts make the event feel substantial, which is the best promotion for the next edition.

How it’s different

How It’s Different From Canva-Style Templates

</>
Real HTML and CSS, not a locked image
Canva-style templates only give you an image. These are plain HTML and CSS you can copy, download as a .html file or fork into My Code, then reuse on a website, in an email or in your own design system.
◍
Private by design
Text and photos never leave your browser. Images are drawn locally on a canvas, so client photos and unreleased product screenshots stay on your device.
⇲
Every size from one design
Layouts use relative units, so one design exports as an Instagram portrait post, a square, a Story, a 16:9 X post, a LinkedIn image and a Pinterest pin, or all six at once as a ZIP.
✓
Free, with no account or watermark
No sign-up, no premium-only templates, no watermark and no download limits. Edits are saved in your browser for next time.
Aa
Text that always fits
Long headlines shrink step by step instead of overflowing, and Story layouts keep text clear of Instagram’s buttons. Most template editors leave both to you.
v1
Versioned templates
Each template has a version number and an update date, and the exported HTML records which version you used, so you can tell when a design changes.
