About this section

Testimonial Carousel — Free Draggable Testimonial Slider Template

Testimonial Carousel shows your best quotes in a row that visitors can drag, swipe or step through. A left-aligned heading sits beside round arrow buttons, and the quote cards run off the edge of the section, hinting that there's more to see.

Feels great to use

On desktop, drag with the mouse and the row glides with momentum and settles on the nearest card, powered by GSAP Draggable and InertiaPlugin. The arrows ease from card to card with GSAP ScrollToPlugin and disable themselves at either end. On phones and tablets it uses native touch scrolling with CSS scroll-snap, so it feels like any other app.

Built on real scrolling

Underneath it's an ordinary scrollable row, so it works without JavaScript, with a trackpad and with the keyboard (the row is focusable and labelled for screen readers). GSAP adds the drag and easing on top; with reduced motion turned on, the arrows jump without animating.

Edit and export

Add up to twelve testimonials with quotes, names, roles, photos and optional stars, and reorder them so the strongest comes first. The heading reveals with SplitText and the cards stagger in on scroll. Export HTML, a ZIP, React or Vue (the carousel script and GSAP plugins included), or fork into My Code.

Testimonial Carousel: A testimonial slider with a left-aligned heading and arrow buttons above a row of quote cards. Drag it with the mouse and it glides with momentum and snaps to the nearest card (GSAP Draggable + Inertia); swipe on touch screens, or use the arrows, which ease from card to card.

Why use it

Why Use the Testimonial Carousel

⇆
Many quotes, little space
A row that scrolls sideways holds a dozen testimonials in the height of one.
✋
Satisfying to drag
Momentum and snapping make dragging the row feel natural, which invites visitors to keep reading.
♿
Progressive enhancement
It is a real scrolling list first, so it works everywhere; GSAP only makes it smoother.

How it’s different

How It’s Different From Other Free Section Templates

✎
Editable, not just copyable
Change text, links, images, colours and fonts in the browser before you export, instead of editing someone else’s code by hand.
◐
One theme for every section
Colours, fonts, radius and width are shared CSS variables, so every section you combine looks like one website.
⇲
Responsive by container
Container queries make each section adapt to its own width, in a full page, a column or a page builder.
✦
GSAP animation built in
Every section animates in with GSAP and ScrollTrigger, stays visible without JavaScript and respects reduced motion.
</>
HTML, React and Vue
Export a single HTML file, a ZIP with your images, a React component or a Vue component, or fork the code into My Code.
◍
Free, private, saved
No account and no watermark. Designs, uploaded images and fonts stay in your browser, with a backup file you can restore anywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

On devices with a mouse, GSAP Draggable tracks the drag on an invisible proxy and moves the row’s native scroll position; InertiaPlugin adds momentum and the row snaps to the nearest card. Touch devices use normal swiping with CSS scroll-snap.

Yes. The cards sit in a horizontally scrollable row with scroll-snap, so visitors can still scroll through them; only the drag momentum and arrow buttons need the script.

The row is a labelled, focusable region that can be scrolled with the keyboard, the arrow buttons have screen-reader labels you can edit, and animations are skipped for people who prefer reduced motion.

GSAP core with Draggable, InertiaPlugin and ScrollToPlugin (plus ScrollTrigger and SplitText for the entrance), all free and loaded from cdnjs.

It saves an editable copy of your Testimonial Carousel in My Code, the UI Snippets code editor: the section markup goes in the HTML panel, its CSS (theme variables, base styles and layout) in the CSS panel, and the GSAP library is added as a CDN link, so you can keep refining the code and save your own versions.

Yes. It is free for personal and commercial websites, with no sign-up, no watermark and no attribution required. Everything runs in your browser and your edits are saved locally.
